 My Story

I spent the first part of my career in advertising, on the account service side of the desk. There I learned what informs creative work and how it gets done. Then I moved to the creative suite, where I learned how to write for marketing.

Fast-forward to today, and I’ve done a lot of things for a lot of clients – from small agencies and start-ups to global agencies and corporations. I have extensive B2B and B2C experience in healthcare, financial services, technology, and more. I’ve won a few awards along the way, and you’ll see some of that work here.

Because of what I learned during the early part of my career, as a creative I still walk around with a marketing brief in my head. Right next to a creative brief. And, regardless of the many titles I’ve held, as a writer my job is always the same: to tell and guide the telling of client stories.

So here’s what I’m really good at as a creative partner:

  • Corralling other creatives (leading teams)

  • Creative strategy

  • Creative direction

  • Copywriting (UX, marketing, PR/editorial, SEO)

  • Developing talent

  • Editing (policing brand voice, style, grammar, and best writing practices)

  • Handling big, messy projects with ridiculous deadlines

  • Leading the charge without officially leading the charge

  • Thriving on stress and caffeine

  • Working hands-free

And there you have my story in short. If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to connect.

I’m a writer after all, and we love to talk.
